THOMSON PLAZA EVENT SPACES CIRCULATION LETTER

We are pleased to inform you that the event spaces for the year end festive period (Christmas 2018 and Chinese New Year 2019) are open for booking. The promotion period is 12 November 2018 to 10 February 2019.

The Christmas / CNY Fair is in collaboration with Sphere Exhibits. There is no change in the booking system, application. Sphere Exhibits will be the invoicing party and all payments have to be made to Sphere Exhibits. However, for the rental on 4th February 2019 onwards, payment has to be make directly to MCST 598. Subsidiary Proprietors’ and Tenants’ first right of refusal in the booking of the East Atrium booths remains. Please note that there will be a new tiered system for rental fees, kindly refer to the table below for rates.

Interested applicants, please fill in the Application Form and submit to the Management’s Office by 01 August 2018, Wednesday, 3pm. Late submission will not be entertained. Each strata title lot is entitled to a maximum of two (2) applications.

 

In the event that there is more than one applicant for the same lot, a Balloting Exercise will be conducted on 02 August 2018, Thursday, 3pm at the Management Office. We regret to inform you that only approved applicants will be called to attend the balloting, and that there shall be no change in the date and time of the above mentioned Balloting Exercise.

 

Kindly ensure that you have understood the Terms & Conditions before applying. A copy of it may be retrieved from The Management’s office. Upon submitting your Application, you are deemed to have read the Management Corporation Strata Title No. 598 (MCST) Terms & Conditions governing the licensing of Event Spaces at Thomson Plaza, and hereby agreed to be bounded by these Terms & Conditions.  

 

Notes:

 

  1. Advertising Banners, Boards, Merchandise and Fixtures (including Lightings) are to be kept at a maximum height limit of 1.4m (4.6ft) unless approved by the Management. Any non-compliance shall result in a Liquidated Damages charge of $100.00 per day and will be deducted from the Security Deposit accordingly.

 

  1. All rates are subjected to the prevailing GST.

 

  1. Layout plan with elevation and 3-D drawings together with trade type shall be included in the Application Form for approval.

 

  1. The Management may in his absolute discretion grant or refuse any application for the use of the Premises without giving any reason whatsoever. Only approved applicants will be allowed to participate in the balloting exercise at the Management’s Office Meeting Room.

                                                                                            

  1. Subsidiary Proprietor / Tenant who has not settled the maintenance fees (more than 1 month) or any overdue amount will not be qualified for this booking.

 

  1. You will no longer be required to apply for the Temporary Change of Use with the FSB as of 20th April 2016. However layout plans submission to the management office is mandatory. The layout plan has to be submitted 14 days before the commencement of the promotion, failing which, the Management reserves the right to terminate and forfeit the license fee as a cancellation.

 

  1. The Management reserves the right to open any spaces remaining after the booking period to the public.
